LEICA M6 “Schule Wetzlar ‘85”
This is quite an unussual camera of which not many have been made. At the time customers could attend the “Leica Schule” (Leica school) and at the school which was in Wetzlar these customers could see the technicians assembling and testing the Leica M6 cameras. “After school” these customers could buy a Leica M6 for themsleves and could pay a little bit extra to have it engraved with their name and Leica Schule Wetzlar. It is not known or registered how many (or little) from these cameras were made by Leica but numbers are very,very limited. Lees verder
Leica 250 GG Reporter
Leica 250 GG Reporter which is in a nice and original state and comes with the original Leica leather bag included. The Leica 250 Reporter is a body variant of the Leica screw mount rangefinder. Leica III A “Monte en Sarre”
This is a very rare Leica III A “Monte en Sarre” camera since the serial number is not from the batch of 359001 – 359500 as it “should” be according to the Lager book for these cameras,since it has got serial number : 359997. According to the record of Leica in the batch from serial number : 358651 till 360000 there are no cameras made !! In the period from 1949-1951 about 500 Leica III A cameras were assembled at St. Ingbert in French occupied zone of Germany by the Saroptico company. These cameras carried the engraving "Monte en Sarre" (assembled in Sarre) beneath the word "Germany" on the-plate. Lees verder
Leica grey IIICK
This is a very nice Leica grey IIICK which has got serial number #:389567K and comes with a Leitz Summitar 5cm/2. 0 with serial number #:578707. This camera is this rare and interesting since it has got the RED "K" instead of the white K as it should be !! Of this RED "K" only 100 pieces are supposedly been made by Leica and are seldom seen !! This one is the Leica M6 "Durchschnitt" or in English;a cutaway Leica M6. It is made in black chrome and has got serialnumber :1916203. There is relatively not much documented by Leica about these cameras,besides that they are made as personal projects of apprenticed students who were hoping for employment at the Leica factory. In October 2010 Leica launched a limited edition of the Leica X1 cause the famous Parisian boutique and concept store L’Eclaireur was celebrating its 30th anniversary in October 2010. For the occasion they teamed up with Gilles Ouaki and Leica, to produce a limited edition of their X1 digital camera. They all carry a special engraving of the figure of Italy itself and also the words “demo unit”. Hasselblad 2000 FC/M - 100 years in Photography - 1885/1985 # 152 This commemorative camera was issued in 1985 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding the Hasselblad family wholesale company in 1885 and thus 100 years in photography. This group of 1500 cameras was sold in a distinctive wooden display box. Most cameras seen appear to have been assembled in 1984 with an observed serial number range RI 1520525 to RI 152081, and gold film magazines made in 1984 or 1985 (observed range 3264758 to 3306051).
